Baia delle Zagare is a beach located in Apulia, Italy, with an area of 479 square meters. The beach is 90 meters long and has a pebbly surface. OpenStreetMap lists one parking lot within 500 meters of the beach.
Bay of Zagare, also known as Mergoli Bay, is a stretch of coast located in Mattinata in the Gargano, in Puglia. The name of this bay comes from the zagare, flowers of citrus fruits, and the solitary blackbirds and sparrows present in the area. It is located in front of a limestone cliff, with a rocky beach, two sea stacks known as 'Arco di Diomede' and 'Le forbici', and a cave known as 'grotta delle finestre'. It is divided into three separate beaches separated by rocky outcrops, of which the two longest measure 260 m and 450 m, and the third, further north, is 60 m long and accessible only by sea. The southernmost one is free, obtaining the daily access permit from the Municipality of Mattinata.
