La Palmyre Beach or Clapet Beach, entirely covered with blond sand, is one of the four beaches of La Palmyre, a seaside resort in the commune of des Mathes, in the Charente-Maritime department and the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region (south-west of France).
Located near the bay of Bonne Anse, it belongs to the Côte de Beauté, of which it constitutes the western part, and is attached to the Arvert peninsula and the natural region of Royannais. It faces the mouth of the Gironde, near the Atlantic Ocean.
