About Lüttzicker Urt
Lüttzicker Urt is a beach located in Germany, in the region of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, at the northern end of the Klein Zicker peninsula. It is 1.688 kilometers from Hundestrand Gager and 636 meters from the village of Klein Zicker.
The Lüttzicker Urt is a sand spit at the northern tip of the Klein Zicker peninsula belonging to Rügen. The high German designation Klein Zicker Ort is also used.
To the west of the spit lies the Greifswalder Bodden, to the east the Zicker See. The land spit belonging to the municipality of Mönchgut is growing northwards through land reclamation processes and would probably already be connected to the spit of Kirkenort, which is growing southwards from Groß Zicker, if the shipping channel were not kept artificially open.
