Bakenberg is a beach located in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany, featuring a sandy shore on the island of Rügen. It is 12.69 kilometers from the nearby beach of Schaabe and has 10 food options within 1 kilometer.
The Bakenberg (after Bake) is located in the northwest of the Wittow peninsula on the island of Rügen in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and has a height of about 29 m above sea level. HN. It slopes down to the Baltic Sea with a cliff coast. Before that, several kilometers in length, there extends a sandy beach up to 30 meters wide and very fine-grained.
Bakenberg is also the name of the recreation area located here with camping sites and about 700 holiday homes above the cliff coast in the forest. The area is mainly part of the Nonnevitz district of the Dranske municipality, partly part of the Altenkirchen municipality.
